Не хочу влезать в это обсуждение по существу, просто замечу - ни в одной стране мира свободное частное телевидение, ни большое, ни маленькое, никогда не показывает "вести с полей". Не потому что это неинтересно телевизионщикам, а потому что эти вести никому из зрителей не интересны.

Это утверждение просто неверно. Очевидно, что "вести с полей" интересны, например, фермерам. И, следовательно, есть телевизионные программы для них и ПРО них.
